What personal data Firestone Pilates collects and why

Firestone Pilates will collect certain personal information from you when you use the website, when you get in touch about any of my services, and during any process to sign up, change or cancel your services.

How Firestone Pilates collects data

Contact forms

When you submit a form to Firestone Pilates, a certain amount of information is collected from you including your name, email address, phone number, address.  This information is only collected on the submission of the form and with your consent.


Cookies

Like most websites Firestone Pilates uses ‘cookies’. A cookie is a small text file sent from our website and stored on your computer. The cookie can be retrieved by the website the next time you return to improve your experience of using the site. Who Firestone Pilates shares your data with

Credit card transactions are handled by an authorized clearing company (Stripe – you can find their privacy policy at https://stripe.com/gb/privacy ). They receive the credit card number and other personal identifying information in a fully secured environment only to verify the credit card numbers and process transactions. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished using a shared computer.

Firestone Pilates does not share your data with any other third parties.


How long does Firestone Pilates store your data?

Your personal information will be retained as long as it is considered useful to contact you or as needed to comply with Firestone Pilates’ legal obligations.  Where data is not needed for legal or statutory purposes it will be deleted if you request. Please contact Firestone Pilates at amanda@firestonepilates.co.uk to request your data to be deleted.

For users who register on the website, Firestone Pilates also stores the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Firestone Pilates, also acting as the website administrator, can also see and edit that information.


What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

  • strict procedures are followed when storing or handling information that you have provided. Some information is encrypted, such as payment transactions and password;
